EM9G45 is a complete embedded system powered by Atmel AT91SAM9G45 ARM9 processor. This chip runs at a nominal frequency of 400 MHz for the core and 133 MHz for the system bus, also is the first embedded microprocessor that offers a true EHCI-compliant USB high-speed controller.
EM9G45 includes MINI9G45 computer on module and EM2416/16W-V1.5 carrier board. The carrier loads USB device, double-USB host, Ethernet 10/100 interface, SD/MMC card slots, a 24-bit true color LCD TFT display with resistive touchscreen and backlight, Audio input/output, a backup battery, PWM controlled buzzer and adjustable resistor. The module MINI9G45 controls the carrier board via 192 pins header.
The SBC supports Linux, Android and Microsoft WinCE. Boardcon provides full BSPs for Linux operating systems free of charge, and Android and WinCE are coming soon.

1. How to modify the system countdown time?
A: There is a countdown time after the board boots up uboot, generally for 5 seconds, in 5 seconds to press any key to be into the u-boot interactive environment
- a. After entering the u-boot interactive environment, the implementation of the following instructions to set the boot delay value, in order to set 3 seconds as an example
U-Boot > setenv bootdelay 3
U-Boot > saveenv
- b. Modidy in the source code of uboot.
# define CONFIG_BOOTELAY 3
Save your change after modification.
2. How to transfer the file in the PC to the target board?
A. In Linux, there are several ways to download the file in the PC to the development board
- a. Use U disk or SD card
Copy the PC file to the U disk or SD card, and then insert the U disk or SD card into the target board, copy the file to the directory root.
- b. tftp
Run TFTP software on the PC machine, set the directory where you need to download the file
Take the file boardcon.txt as an example
The following instructions are executed in the system to download the file
TFTP -g 192.168.0.101 -r ~ $boardcon.txt
/ / please according to the actual situation of PC input IP address, and the name of the file
- c. Serial port
Execute the following instructions in the system
~ $Rx / board.c
//According to the actual situation, select the file name
And then select the super terminal transmission - send Xmodem (N)
Pop up a dialog box, select the need to download the file, and then click to send.
